Listings & Supply

A listing is the fundamental unit of supply on GGNomad: a stay, a guided tour, an experience, or a combination, owned by a host or operator. Because discovery, bookings, reviews, and payouts all hang off a listing existing first, getting a listing verified is the gateway to the entire marketplace.

What a listing carries​

  • Location — where the stay, tour, or experience takes place
  • Offering type — stay, tour, experience, or a combination
  • Capacity — how many guests it serves
  • Media — photos and supporting documents
  • Verification status — where the listing sits in its lifecycle

The verification lifecycle​

A listing moves from created → submitted → verified/active, and an administrator can review, verify, or suspend it. Verification gates discovery, bookings, and payouts — quality and trust are gated before inventory goes live.

Availability & pricing​

Every listing carries its own calendar of bookable inventory:

  • Per-date and seasonal pricing — nightly or per-date rates that vary by season
  • Per-date capacity and minimum stays
  • Blackout dates — close specific dates without deleting anything
  • An availability toggle — a fully booked weekend disappears from search until it reopens

The calendar is what discovery surfaces and what checkout prices against — the supply that meets traveler demand.

Running a listing​

Hosts and operators run their business from a single surface:

  • Booking queue — see incoming bookings, confirm them, and move each through check-in and completion (or cancel), with every transition recorded
  • Traveler messaging (in progress) — answer questions and share meeting points without leaving the platform
  • Host analytics — total revenue, bookings, occupancy, average booking value, and average rating at a glance

One identity, many roles​

The same person can be a traveler today and a host tomorrow. Every action a host takes is scoped by role and protected by RBAC, so a multi-role marketplace stays secure and auditable.
